Our flora and fauna based, a 2nd Annual art exhibition were launched on the 15th of March, 2018 amidst warmth, comradery, myriad colours, distinguished guests and artwork contributed by 53 artists from across the globe.
It was indeed a celebration of the universal concepts of love, harmony, growth and life.
The exhibit is divided into 2 sections.
‘’Art from the heart’’ which showcases the paintings of horses on canvas, copper that speak volumes through their depiction in varied emotions, forms and styles, water lilies & lotus on silk that marvel the viewers with their translucent, ethereal colours and the alluring snow-filled landscapes that transports the audience to ‘’Firdaus bar roo-e zamin (heaven on earth) Kashmir. This being the artists’ way of appreciating the creator and His creation.
The second section is ‘’Art for the soul’’ where the artists displayed their perceptions and expressions of the ancient, rich Fatimid heritage and calligraphic representations of spirituality that courageously strive to translate the intangible in a tangible, relative form.

Dr Arshiya Lokhandwala-curator and art historian.
Mr Adil Gandhy-art gallery owner
Ms Sabira Merchant- art collector
Dr Arshiya was delighted that artists of the Dawoodi Bohra community are coming of age and that Radiant Arts is providing the artists with a platform to showcase their talent. Sabira Merchant and Adil Gandhy found the art very promising.
Mohammed Wajiuddin from the Times of India was amongst the first few to arrive and was appreciative of the essence of spirituality, love and peace radiating from all the paintings which he felt was a reflection of the community as well.
Shaina NC-spokesperson for BJP graced the event with her presence said she was very glad that the Dawoodi Bohra women now had a platform to display their art.
Sanjay Nadkarni, a professional photographer and artist who visited felt that the paintings are exhibited in a very unique and creative way.
Loulou Van Damme, designer and hotelier were touched by the sense of community and support. She went on to add that she felt a sense of deep serenity at the exhibition.
