What started out as a compassionate conversation around developing a greater connect within the members of the community, through encouragement and support of talent, has now transformed into a fine arts forum for the artists of Dawoodi Bohra community. This is where the discussion surrounding art is framed and portrayed as a dialogue between the artist’s self, their soul and the world around.
More specifically, Radiant Arts is a platform for the appreciation, creation, and display of art that represents ‘meaningful and purposeful existence’. We not only promote art that is luminescent in its own realm by the representations of higher ideals but art that celebrates aesthetics and illuminates the mind and soul, the essence of which is rightfully captured in our logo, ‘Anwaar al-Funun’ where ‘Anwaar’ is the Arabic plural for flowers and light.
Through our multiple exhibitions and an online gallery, we showcase original, unique pieces of art contributed by artists all over the world. Our family extends from Vadodara where a budding 18-year-old artist is endeavoring to balance his passion for art with his studies to Yemen where an Indian born is creating an amalgam of Indian culture and Arabic traditions amongst many other distinguished and established artists from India, Pakistan, USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, South East Asia as well as many more countries in future.
And it is not only about discussion and appreciation. We also provide a channel for artists to evolve emotionally, spiritually and materialistically. Because we believe that when a passion for one’s art becomes a mean for sustenance and livelihood, it becomes more meaningful for the artist and deeply fulfilling for those who facilitate this process.
