In this workshop expand your understanding of the subject and learn the basics with the master photographer. Shk Taha B. Raja has travelled the most exotic places and learnt from a rich experience of expeditions. For this workshop he will be simplifying thefollowing topics: -Equipment -Exposure -Composition -Basics of Shutter, Aperture and ISO among other photography tips. Art form:Acrylic painting is an art style that is created using synthetic acrylic resins. Acrylics dry rapidly and give the visual impression of both watercolour and oil colours. The advantages of working with acrylics versus other media types is that they are fast-drying, easy to clean up, have low odor, and are heavily pigmented, meaning the colors can be very bold and vibrant.Unlike oils, you can continue to paint over the dried areas and not see any mistakes, hence it’s a very appealing medium for beginners.Date: 22nd January, SaturdayTime: 3:30- 6:00 P.M.

Topic: The Art of Writing Thuluth Script with Shk Shabbir Bagichawala Date: 10th July, Saturday Time: 4:00 P.M. - 5:30 P.M IST Fees: ₹1199 Minimum age of participant: 15 yearsArt form: Islamic Calligraphy: Thuluth Style An introduction to the different styles of Arabic Calligraphy with demonstration of simple letters, some word formations, and the asmaa’ mubarakah of Khamsat Athaar AS (Thuluth and Naskh style variants) by Master Calligrapher Shk. Shabbir Bhai Bagichawala.Along with the history and origin of the script, we will also introduce mizaan al-niqaat (guidelines for the placement and spacing of dots and lines). Participants will be taught writing formations of khatt-e-thuluth, which will be the focus of this workshop.Further, a practice session within the workshop will demonstrate the formation of some Asmaa’ Allah al-Husnaa and the sacred names of Panjatan Paak AS. Date: 18th &19th September 2021 Time: 4:00-6:30 PM(both days)Introduction of the Artform: Brush Lettering is the art of drawing the letters of the English alphabet by applying thick and thin strokes of a brush tip. The contrast of these thick and thin strokes is the essence of this popular style of brush lettering. Brush Calligraphy basics must commence from correctly holding a pen, to learning the basic strokes first. These basic strokes are important to start with, because these are the building blocks to the individual alphabets. The basic strokes also ensure that your handwriting, no matter how good or bad it is, doesn't interfere with your style of brush lettering.Objective: In this workshop, we will learn the correct way to draw these basic strokes, and then each and every lower case letter will be demonstrated through a breakdown of the basic strokes that build it. Real-time demonstration helps you observe the correct way to craft the letters. The personal attention given to each of your learning will eliminate any mistakes which are generally never brought to attention otherwise, in recorded courses or online tutorials.
